At Bluegrass Butter Brittle, every batch is handmade and shipped with care to ensure it arrives fresh and in perfect condition.

Shipping Method

All orders are shipped via FedEx 2-Day to help protect the quality and freshness of our brittle.

Shipping Days & Why:

To ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, we only ship Monday through Wednesday.

Why:

Our butter brittle and other confections are perishable and sensitive to heat. FedEx One Rate delivers Monday–Friday at the standard rate, but packages left in trucks or planes over the weekend can get hot, risking melting or changes in texture and flavor. Shipping early in the week helps us ensure your treats arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.

Processing Time:

Orders placed by Wednesday at 3 PM EST ship the same day.

Orders placed after that time will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

Delivery Times:

Domestic orders typically arrive in 2 business days depending on location.

We currently ship within the United States only.

Warm Weather Shipping

Butter brittle is sensitive to heat. During warmer months, we include insulated packaging and cold packs to protect your order during transit.

Because of the additional materials and handling required, shipping rates increase during warm weather periods.

Warm weather shipping is typically in effect May through September, but timing may vary depending on temperatures.

Shipping Rates

Shipping is calculated as a flat rate based on current weather conditions:

• Standard Weather: $15.25
• Warm Weather (includes insulated packaging & cold pack): $20.25

These rates reflect the actual cost of fast, protective shipping to ensure your brittle arrives in excellent condition.

Processing Time

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days.
You will receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Delivery Tips

If possible, we recommend:

• Shipping to a location where someone can receive the package
• Bringing the package indoors promptly after delivery

This helps prevent heat exposure and ensures the best product quality.
